Everyone’s Favorite Cuzin

Cuzin Eddy & the Winnebagos are a high-energy party band from St. Louis, specializing in rock, new wave, and MTV-era favorites from the 1980s. We also are known reach into the ’70s, ’90s, and 2000s, but the ’80s are where we live.

Our shows are upbeat, familiar, fun, and built to keep the party moving. You’ll hear songs you know, songs you forgot you loved, and a few that will make you say, “I haven’t heard that in years!”

Our band started in 2015 as a nameless group of musicians with day jobs, getting together to jam and relive our old band glory days. After playing a benefit show in St. Charles, MO for a fallen first responder, we needed a name. Since the night also included a Christmas Vacation trivia event, someone jokingly suggested we call ourselves “Cousin Eddie.” Somehow, it stuck — and Cuzin Eddy & the Winnebagos were born.

Musically, we come from all over the map: former full-time musicians, garage band warriors, college dorm-room crooners, and lifelong music fans. None of us grew up loving all the same bands, which is exactly what makes our setlist work. We cover a lot of ground while keeping the show fun, fast-moving, and full of songs people want to hear.

A Cuzin Eddy show is a party. We’ll probably make you dance, make fun of ourselves, maybe make fun of you a little, and send you home wanting to dig out your old boombox, or Walkman, and that INXS Kick cassette you lost sometime around 1988.
